Techtride® NPB (n-Propyl Bromide)

Techtride® NPB (n-Propyl Bromide) is a solvent used for such applications as vapor degreasing, cold cleaning, and cleaning of electronic components. It works extremely well on oils and greases commonly used in the manufacturing process. It is compatible with a wide variety of metals and plastics and cavitates well with ultrasonics. Most properly designed vapor degreasers can use Techtride® NPB without modification. However, it is recommended that the degreasing system be checked thoroughly by a degreasing professional before any cleaning fluid changes are made.

N-Propyl Bromide is an excellent drop-in replacement for chlorinated solvents and has no flash point.

N-Propyl Bromide is stable and non-corrosive.

Techtride® NPB is available in both virgin and reclaim form.

Techtride® NPB (n-Propyl Bromide) is a clear, water-white liquid at ordinary temperatures.

Boiling Point = 160° F

Specific Gravity = 1.35

Acid Acceptance = 0.20

pH = 6.75 - 7.5

Flash Point = None

Water Content = <100ppm
