     Techtride® - Perk (Tetrachloroethylene)

Techtride® - Perk (Tetrachloroethylene) is inherently more stable than other chlorinated solvents.  In addition, Perk HD incorporates a multiple-component stabilizer system that provides continuous protection against solvent degradation in both the liquid and vapor phases of degreasing.  By preventing solvent degradation and decomposition, the stabilizers protect against corrosion of the work being processed and the metal degreasing equipment as well.  The stabilizer additives are designed to co-distill with the tetrachloroethylene, so they are retained throughout the degreasing cycle.

Tetrachloroethylene is a clear, water-white liquid at ordinary temperature, with a sweet odor.  It is completely miscible with most organic liquids.  The stabilized product, Tetrachloroethylene, can be used with any of the common construction metals.

Boiling Point = 250° F

Specific Gravity = 1.624

Acid Acceptance = .11

pH = 6.75 - 7.5

Flash Point = None

Water Content <100ppm

PCT Perk is available in both virgin and reclaim form.
